We are hiring a skilled Industrial Painter to spray high-quality paint and protective coatings onto heavy machinery and metal parts.
Pay & Shifts:
Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour (plus extra pay for afternoons).
Overtime: Lots of steady overtime available to make extra money.
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday).

Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (Monday to Thursday—enjoy a 3-day weekend!).
Quick Requirements:
Must drive your own car to work (there is no public transit nearby).
Must be ready to start working right away.
What You Will Do:
Mix & Spray Paint: Mix and apply heavy-duty paints (like PPG, Endura, and Hempel epoxy or polyurethane) using the exact right ratios and drying times.
Advanced Finishes: Tape off parts for professional two-tone paint jobs and spray smooth metallic finishes.
Prep Surfaces: Clean and sandblast metal parts so the paint sticks well.
Fix & Clean Equipment: Set up and fix high-pressure pot systems. Take apart and clean spray guns and pumps.
Check Quality: Use gauges to check the paint thickness (DFT) and make sure it matches the exact required depth.
Booth Maintenance: Change paint booth filters and keep the airflow safe and clean.
Stay Safe: Follow all shop safety rules and always wear your respirator and safety gear.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven experience painting machinery or heavy steel.
Knowledge of how to mix specialized paints, manage drying times, and use thickness gauges.
Ability to hold heavy spray equipment and stand for long periods.
A reliable worker with their own vehicle who can start immediately.

Responsibilities
Mix and apply specialized high-solids, epoxy, and polyurethane systems (PPG, Endura, & Hempel) following strict induction times and ratios.
Execute high-quality metallic finishes (ensuring even distribution) and professional two-tone paint jobs with precise masking.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot high-pressure pot systems; perform full teardowns and maintenance on spray guns and pumps.
Utilize gauges to verify Dry Film Thickness (DFT) to ensure applications meet manufacturer-spec micron depths.
Proactively manage booth health, including monitoring and changing filters to ensure optimal airflow and safety.
Qualifications
Comprehensive background in industrial painting with high-performance coatings.
Mastery of pressure pot systems, tip selection, and material viscosity.
Must be able to do a respirator fit test on Day 1 (requires being clean-shaven).
Must own CSA-approved safety boots that cover the ankle.
Valid Forklift, Overhead Crane, and Rigging certifications are highly beneficial. Experience with sandblasting is considered a strong asset.
A "hit the ground running" attitude, the ability to anticipate challenges, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
